If I smell propane in my home what should I do?
If you are inside, leave the building. Do not turn light switches on or off, do not do anything that can cause a spark, leave doors open and if safe - turn off the gas supply at the tank. If you are outside, do not reenter the building. Once you are in a safe area, call your gas supplier and if necessary, emergency services. Keep all people out of the building until emergency personnel or service personnel arrive.
